PAUSE:
The Immersive Place of Poetry Film

What does ‘place’ mean to us, and how do we capture it creatively?
This collection of 2D and immersive poetry films responds creatively to places across the West Midlands.
.
The project launched on National Poetry Day 2023 as part of a residency
at Birmingham Literature Festival.

GRASP

A poetry film commissioned by Melbourne Arts Festival.

Created as part of Writing Ambitions, a project funded by Arts Derbyshire and Arts Council England.

The project sought to connect emerging writers with participants in festival communities, and to celebrate their local area.

During the Covid pandemic, community members posted ‘Little Memories of Melbourne’ through the door of a local gallery, and these were displayed in the window to bring cheer and connection through the lockdown.
